Correspondence collage is as a study for a painting which I have been developing. The concepts behind this new body of work has to do with developing an iconography that can express various issues ranging from faith, transcendence, identity, gender roles, sexuality, substance abuse and the creative process.

“Ass to mouth” .. oil on canvas… 77” x 51 1/2”. This painting is a cessation from my previous body of work. This particular iconography developed out of my incorporation of collage elements into my methodolgy.   Ass to mouth began with the central image of the female. From this starting point i was able to play around with various concepts in order to create an inner logic through visual forms.
